How is the merit list prepared?

The merit list will be prepared based on a total of 200 marks. These marks are calculated from:

  • Admission Test Score: 100 marks
  • SSC/equivalent GPA: Your GPA will be multiplied by 10.
  • HSC/equivalent GPA: Your GPA will be multiplied by 10.

For example:

  • If you score 85 in the admission test.
  • Your SSC GPA is 5.00.
  • Your HSC GPA is 4.80.
  • Your total score will be: 85 + (5.00 x 10) + (4.80 x 10) = 183.

Important Information for Candidates

  • The BDS Dental Admission Test 2025 was held on February 28, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
  • The test was in MCQ format.
  • Subjects included Biology, Chemistry, Physics, English, and General Knowledge.
  • For each correct answer, you get 1 mark.
  • For each incorrect answer, 0.25 marks will be deducted.
  • To be considered for admission, you need to score at least 40% in the test.
  • A total of 68,684 candidates applied for the 2024-2025 session.
  • There are only 545 seats available.
